Thanks, I think I may just do that in the meantime to see how I do considering I can’t get on the landscapers schedule until July given the spring rush underway. I get the privacy it provides but I really don’t understand the desire to plant bamboo considering how invasive it is. -
You missed the sarcasm in that part of my post! I’ve been in spring tracking mode for like 2.5 weeks...windows open...good riddance to winter. Also, the first of my daffodils are blooming right now.

No, its just not worth going in circles so I’m agreeing to disagree. This is getting in the way of tracking the foot of snow about to hit DC on Monday.

Ok, but I still stand by what I said - if not what I specifically said, I still don’t see any belittling. The only blatant thing I saw was trix calling out a group of people for being awful human beings. Shouldn’t your post about not belittling others for being scared apply the other way, too?

Maybe I missed it, but where did I/anyone belittle or make fun of anyone who is scared about the virus? What I didn’t miss is a post calling out people for showing how awful of a human we are - which is certainly irony at its finest.

Anyone with experience getting rid of bamboo? The house we’re buying has bamboo that is priority #1 in the landscaping dept. to get rid of. I’m inclined to just hire a landscaper to take care of it since it seems like a nightmare to handle - the only good news is that its not a large area since they only planted it about 2.5 years ago. But there are already lots of rhizomes so want to take care of this ASAP once we close in 2 weeks. -
This is exactly what I was going to say. I have a feeling that even if most people (who want it) are vaccinated in 30-60 days (the President said in May which would be fantastic), there will still be calls for “now isn’t the time to open up....we still need to be vigilant” and the hamster wheel will continue.

Bowser still saying no fans at Nats Park but that ‘could change’. The Navy Yard area bars and restaurants would get a nice boost by allowing fans - plus all the workers at the ballpark, too. Same for Camden Yards.

Aside from a brief two day period of BN temps early next week, 6z GEFS is wall to wall average to AN 2m temps. It seems aside from the favored areas, winter is over (I’m not buying frozen in the cities early next week).
