The progression/trend gif you’ve been showing today was great to see. And this just continues that. Although this run is probably the last we look at the ensembles?

This is a 150% weenie assessment but if you assume the thermals are jacked because 1) it’s the gfs and 2) they are warmer due to the placement of the primary further north than all guidance - it leads me to believe we’d see more snow (and sleet) than depicted.

And it looks like about 0.5” for DC in QPF from the thump as snow. Then some sleet during the lull before the coastal starts cranking after H84.

Looks like the primary is dying in NE KY. 999 east of ORF at 84. I wish it went past 84 because it looked like it was about to light up like the 4th of July.

I’d sign up for a ‘run of the mill’ 6-8” storm where I’m not in a dry slot/rain so Harrisburg, PA can get 2 feet. Not even a hard decision for me.

Also looking at the SLP maps, seems like a slightly earlier transfer than 12z. Hour 82 has a 1005 LP near Ocracroke OBX or just SW of there.

18z Euro has a 5a start time Sunday in DC. Earlier as you go SW from DC. Looking at the 500H through 72, slightly more confluence to my non-expert eye over NE.
