  1. What a fun storm! Just took a walk around the neighborhood in the snow...roads covered again and its such a pretty winter scene. While we didn't get 16", this has been a great storm. Pure winter out there. In a Nina to boot.
  2. Heading outside for a walk as the yellows approach!
  3. Yep, looks like North Wildwood to me based on the signs (7th ave beach)
  4. Ocean looks angry in Wildwood: Wildwood Nor’easter Photos And Videos - Wildwood Video Archive
  5. That's crazy. Someone up that way in Morris/Hunterdon/Sussex will get 30".
  6. I wonder if ERS will like the Euro?
  7. Big snow flakes mixing in with the moderate sleet.
  8. Heavy sleet with an occasional flake or two. This is better than I had expected from the coastal at least here.
  9. My sister in Central NJ already has 16" wow.
  10. One of the things I'm trying to learn is how to read that map and tell if its a cold/dry look (I get the placement of the NAO/AO/EPO/etc). But to me that would seem to suggest NS dominated and/or cold/dry. Deepest low heights are centered over the great lakes.
  11. 29 and freezing drizzle right now. Sidewalks are basically a skating rink. And adding a nice layer of crust to yesterday's snow.
  12. Surface doesn’t really matter. More about upper air temperatures especially in the dendrite growth layer of the atmosphere.
  13. Our Scottie was camera shy earlier but enjoyed licking up the snow as it fell. Nice day today.
  14. Yeesh. Reminds me why I’m glad I moved from Central Jersey over 10 years ago lol
  15. The storm thread is just embarrassing. Basically is a view into society today as a whole where there’s a general lack of respect for others.
  16. The next few weeks there should be great with the upcoming pattern. Hitting climo (at least) looking more and more likely. Already surpassed last year’s total (which isn’t saying much lol)
  17. GFS says I see more from the coastal than the WAA.
  18. This storm has been all over the place...can’t be easy for forecasters/Mets.
  19. GFS drops over 4” from the coastal here and nearly a foot in Baltimore.
  20. Yeah, I stopped measuring this morning so will have to rely on LWX reports. 3-4” seems reasonable.
