On balance, it is a TON more fun to have one of the majors doing this five days from an event even if it is on an island - just fun to dream a bit - especially given that this is still the period before THE PERIOD OF INTEREST.
Yeah, we don't need the constant reminders its on its own...lets just weenie out and dream.

I like seeing that H north of us over Canada, sinking south as the LP deepens. Get that a bit stronger and more south in Canada and it'd be even better.

CMC solution makes it tempting to road-trip to downeast Maine for this one. Holy shit.
Nubble Lighthouse in a blizzard would be pretty.

CMC cuts to Buffalo then transfers off the jersey coast. Bombs into a snowicane for coastal NE.

The classic transfer from Pittsburgh to the coast. Those always work for us…

ICON is basically if the NAM went past 84H as a global model. Just not worth discussing.

Canadian went from a cutter at 12z to a low that tracks over Norfolk at 00z (still rain for the area though).

Paste job and a thump. That’s how we can overcome marginal surface (verbatim).

There’s a mouse in my house.
I’ve heard it more than seen it, but it definitely exists. I’ve set up box fans to try to blow/keep it away from the kitchen. Doesn’t seem to help. The whopper wrappers in the trashcan are just too much of a powerful mouse magnet.
I might have to move.
Once you have one, get ready for more unfortunately.

Masters of the Air on Apple is really good. Three episodes have been released so far - this latest episode was by far the best.

These epic h5 looks don't always translate into actual desired results. Devil will be in the details.
Good thing this wasn't posted in the LR thread....almost like yelling FIRE in a crowded theatre.

Has Ralph already cracked? Haven't seen any posts lately.
He's still worried about last week's TREND from one model run.

Back at Deep Creek for the weekend with friends who are staying with us. I left here less than 2 weeks ago to almost 30" of snow pack, which is all gone now. But pleasantly surprised to be getting a snow shower now to whiten things up. 32 degrees.

A few sprinkles on the commute in this morning.
Mid/Late February will be rocking. (This year we mean it!) February long range discussion.
