    We usually host about 15 at Deep Creek but we're going up to Long Island this year for it. My partner's sister wanted to get it catered but I was adamant about cooking everything. I love planning the menu, cooking all day, and enjoying the conversation/laughter in the kitchen. That plus a few glasses of wine while cooking is always fun.

    God put on quite the show at sunset tonight. Gorgeous yellows, oranges, pinks, and purples. 31 degrees with a fire going and a Manhattan. We decorated for Christmas today and put the tree up so enjoying the mood (doing the same at home tomorrow) - we usually do it Thanksgiving weekend but decided to do it early this year. Don’t judge
