  1. 31.9 here on Beech with light snow. Here's to the GSP forecast busting...hopefully!
  2. I could see that. It will be interesting to see how isolated to the far northern mountains this turns out to be. I still feel good about Beech Mtn. but less and less so the further south you go.
  3. Maybe I'll be wrong but I just don't see anything telling me that elevations above 4k feet won't get 3+ inches out of this event. This is for areas north of Ashville. Really these NWF events are not that difficult to get a good idea about. 850 moisture will be plenty into Friday and 850 temps will be cold enough to wring it out. QPF of GFS is .3+ inches while 3k NAM is way more but I've seen that bust too high many times.
  4. About 22. You did a lot better with that system last week than me.
  5. Beautiful morning on Beech. Round 2 coming up Wednesday night into Friday with another 3-5 inches likely per the GFS.
  6. Still snowing and growing on Beech. GFS basically nailed it for this area.
  7. Living this one out through my webcams. About 2.5 inches so far at 4650 on Beech. Temp is 25.
  8. I'm anxiously waiting for @Bucketheadpic of "I got more than a foot!". #jealous
  9. 6-7 here. I've learned your area is just about the best spot. Always colder and more snow and 300 feet lower than me.
  10. 28.4 here at 4650 on Beech with right at 2 inches so far.
  11. Up here on Beech at 4650 ft. I bet Buckethead beats Beech on this event.
  12. Latest 12z GFS says Beech mtn goes below zero by 8am Friday and stays below zero for 26 hours.
  13. Yes nice secondary upper level piece of energy sliding through from TN crossing into NC in the early afternoon. Should keep things going most of today.
  14. Ripping on Beech. Wish I was there. 26 degrees. Cam East-230027-230034.mp4
  15. I'm still thinking places like Wolf to Beech above 4k feet get a solid 3-6 out of this.
