    The White Marsh CoCoRaHs station has reported 7.87 inches of rain in the past 10 days. Eastern Baltimore County has been getting it pretty steady with this run of storms.

    Case in point, the bases were loaded, 2 out. The Angels pitcher couldn't throw a strike, back to back walks and a HBP. So what does Jackson Holliday do? Swings at the very first pitch into a weak ground ball. There is no way he should have been first pitch swinging. Make that guy throw strikes.

    The same pitcher back in June against the O's that went 6 scoreless innings, gave up 1 hit and 1 walk and struck out 8. Prior to that game he had 7 strikeouts all season.

    Rain stopped at Coppin State for now and sky is clearing. Absolutely sickeningly humid though, to the point the front doors of my building are fogged over.

    If Elias goes, my thinking is the new GM brings in his own manager.

    If you move both Adley and Holliday you tell the fan base the rebuild was for nothing, since those are both 1.1 picks. Elias and Alby are gone at the end of the season is my guess.

    Pretty nasty flooding around the Colgate area here. Lombard by Bayview, Rolling Mill and North Point were washed out.

    Fundamentals are killing this team. That's 3 games this week alone a lack of fundamentals cost the O's a win. Today in extras, why is Alonso even moving off the bag? The ball is in the air, it's either a base hit, in which the winning run scores from 3rd, or a line out. You don't run on contact in that situation either way!

    It is absolutely pouring down rain right now in Dundalk.

    A focus on the "three true outcomes" - walk, strikeout or home run. It's led to guys swinging for the fences or getting on base with walks or striking out a ton.
