I feared the strong la nina would ruin the winter...I think we get off to a warm start with some hot days in May and June like 1956, 1965 and 1996...Does the heat continue into July and August ?...If so it would be a summer like 1999...It's either one extreme or the other...

an unnamed met from accuwx was using the Ash Wednesday storm as an analog...At the time I was arguing 1962 was much colder and that analog was not happening...When the storm started as mixed precipitation I wasn't surprised...
