  7. I went back into the database (1894 to Present) to see what the 70 degree climatology looks like for November in Chester County PA 71 years of 128 (55%) on record have seen days over 70 degrees The most 70 degree days in November in rank order 1975 - 8 / 1990 - 6/ 1896 - 7 / 1931 - 7 / 1902 - 5 / 1903 - 5 / 1913 - 5 / 1938 - 5/ 2020 - 5 The most consecutive 70 degree days in November were the 8 straight days between Nov 2nd and 9th in 1975 - this year is the 4th time we have had 5 straight 70+ days in November The longest stretch between November's without a 70 degree was in this past decade between 2009 and 2014 we experienced no days over 70 degrees in November Of Note in 1950 we actually had back to back days exceeding 80 degrees in November

  10. Another record high today in NW Chester County PA today while we have eclipsed the old relative elevation record (71.0 in 1994)..... we will not like yesterday - when we set an all-time record high of 76.2 be exceeding the current all-time record which is 78 set today back in 1975
  11. As I prepare for my annual winter forecast due into the local Sweetwater Reported on the 23rd for Western Chester County PA - I have been looking at some past facts and figures from the County to see if they may offer a glimpse into the upcoming winter season. Since we are starting off the month with well above normal temps (although looking ahead while we will finish with above normal temps it will not be top 10 warm IMHO)....I thought I would look at the top 10 warmest November months in our data set since 1894 and see what if any impact that has on the upcoming winter season regarding snowfall. Keeping in mind that average snowfall here in Chester County is 35.9" - below are the top 10 warmest November months and their corresponding following winter snow seasons
  12. Some patchy frost in spots below 550 ft in NW Chesco this AM - 36.0 in East Nantmeal

  14. Hey guys looking for some help from those a bit more web savvy than I am. I am in the middle of trying to refresh my tired old website. I spoke with GoDaddy yesterday and they recommended Dreamweaver or Webflow....however they look a bit pricey to me with a monthly fee. I already pay GoDaddy for hosting so looking for a free alternative. I did download and started to play around with a free program called BlueGriffon yesterday. Have not gone too far yet but hoping for some suggestions. Thanks! Paul
