    Non stop rain yesterday 200 miles from AA Co to State College and the same on the drive back. Fortunately, caught a dry slot for tailgating.

    I haven’t seen anything about a public lottery for Os playoff tickets. Just the option for birdland members. Anyone find anything about a lottery? I’ll suck it up and go the stub hub route if necessary but yikes on the prices.

    Only thing that concerns me with the Os is that the series @ Houston comes immediately after this one. You don’t want want to come out of that 2 or 3 back of Tampa.

    Os are 29 above .500 and their remaining schedule makes hitting or exceeding the 100 win mark attainable. Would be the first 100 win reg season since 1980. Rumors that one of kjerstad or Holliday may get a call up in the home stretch.

    Os now 27 above .500. This is starting to shape up to be a special season. And they’re still doing all of this earlier than expected. Crazy to think they still have Holliday, Kjerstad, Norby, Mayo, etc down on the farm to call up. They will need to address pitching, but that may need to wait until next trade deadline or the ‘24 offseason if the intention is to grab a true ace. Not too many #1s coming up for free agency this off-season.

    T&L w rain off and on since 3am. BWI reporting .60 as of 454am.

    Nothing tops the ‘96 blizzard for me. We had just moved from Baltimore to southern york county, pa. Our housing development was very much in progress and our section was mostly open fields sans the few houses that had been built. The drifts that occurred with that storm were incredible. I distinctly remember it taking many days before a front end loader finally cleared our road and created a mountain of snow at the end of our street.
