THIS I know we go way back and I remember you saying this once before. Way to put things in perspective.

I may be in the minority but I have seen this play out too many times and someone said not to get your hopes too high or you will be disappointed. NWS has been 6-11 in their WSW message almost all day. They upped it to 8-13 for a short time early today and now they have 5-11. I have 3 on the ground right now so if we get 2-8 more than they will be right. I am still thinking we get 5 more between now and the end. BTW I am glad the Steeler season is over and can put me out of my misery. James Washington needs to be a starter. Maybe Rudolph will target him next year. Ok lets fill that hole in. I was looking for the detour sign but couldn't find it. We could us it. It worked 12 years ago lol!

The NAM shows the dry slot filling in around 1:00 am and steady snow until lunch time tomorrow. It looks like 1/2 inch an hour rates which would get us there. Hey it's been the best model by far.

Think negative and you will get negative. Its like golf. You need to optimistic. The Steelers are done. We all know that. We have snow to root for now that the Steelers are don. Pick up your heads. There is a batch of snow moving toward us and the back end will pivot and give us an additional 5 inches by noon tomorrow for a total of 8 inches which I will take.

If the NAM called this so far we have to be optimistic that it will verify over night. I'm still thinking between 1:00 am and mid morning we will be pleasantly surprised with some more.

Visibility has already dropped to 3/4 mile at my place and snow blowing off the roof across the street. I hope to get some drifting tonight and tomorrow morning.

I feel like I’m posting in the MA thread. I just took my dog for a walk and enjoyed the first dusting starting. If you sit here staring at the computer you will miss it. Enjoy.

Hey let’s not forget as the snow is tapering to 1-3 inches by lunch time tomorrow wind are going to gust to 30 mph. Lots of blowing and drifting.

Not that this won’t be the March super storm of 1993 but I do remember severe weather all over Florida before the storm came up the coast. There have been tornadoes in Florida this morning. Just food for thought

According to the Canadian between midnight and 4:00 am we will see a good amount of this. I probably won’t be able to sleep

And don’t forget….it’s gonna be cold the next couple weeks so the snow won’t be going anywhere.

NAM is a little more east. By tomorrow morning 12z it will come in line with the others.

GFS looks good. 8-12 inches I’ll take it. Canadian...next.

If it were Saturday night I would be worried. We still have tomorrow and a 50 mile east shift is all we need.

A foot of snow with a little sleet mixed in is fine by me.

I wouldn’t worry too much. Still 48 hours out. It’s easier for them to up totals then to scare everyone and then drop the totals.

The thing that I like about the GFS is the swath of 8-16 inches seems to be about 300 miles wide. (Getting better) I would lock it in right now.... This is the forecast that I would like come Sunday. "Winter Storm Warning with snow accumulations 8-16 inches."

LOL at The Weather Channel weenies getting all hyped up because Atlanta may have a bit of Freezing rain. I know they all live in Atlanta but "Come On"

There is still too much time before this storm gets here. We've all seen it before. Bullseye 5 days and then a miss. I am still hoping the models hold or if they do move let it be 50 miles or so. I am fearing the move east but fingers are crossed.

Agree. I can't believe we have 4 more nights of models to go. You know there will be movement somewhere. Let's hope it wobbles back and forth but these 4 nights I am sure will be stressful with ups and downs. Why can't it just be Saturday night already. (SMH)

Canadian is a crusher for us too. I'm scared to be in the bullseye this far out.

I'll take 6-10 in a heartbeat. We just need the Euro to move west and we are in business.
