  1. I'll be watching that 250mb jet. It rarely fails to deliver the goods when it holds up on progs and given the large scale mechanics, is less likely to provide a false signal.
  2. Sexy looking storm, nothing better than a weekend daylight snow blitz!
  3. Only after total capitulation do the real threats start to materialize. Weenie handbook page 15. .
  4. 6z GFS looks like it pops a secondary near LI this run. Improved for sure
  5. 5" new here, mod snow continues. Another 1-3" looks doable. 27F
  6. Had a light dusting earlier and now it has gone to moderate here. Radar is looking healthy and you can see where banding is going to setup. 29f

  14. All joking aside, this is the heaviest sustained rain I’ve ever witnessed here. I’m sure it’s a complete shit show on the roads and in backyards around here. Incredible display of power by Mother Nature. .
  15. You’d have to go at least 20% tip for that ride at a min. .
  16. Getting into the heavy heavy stuff now, some lightning and a random rumble of thunder. It's strange and pleasant to experience tropical remnants with such a refreshingly cool breeze. Should be outta here in an hour or two and then on to delightfully enjoyable early Autumn weather.
  17. Supplies have been replenished per survival guidelines. So yes.
  18. Yawn-Ri precautions and action plans have been dusted off and are now in effect. No biggie, just another 5-7" of rain and some flash flooding.
