    AACPS Message: Due to inclement weather, all AACPS schools and offices will be closed on Tuesday, January 7. There will be no instruction for students. A Code Red is in effect for employees. Unit III personnel must report to their work locations as required. Anne Arundel doing the inevitable.

    I officially proclaim that its snowing here. I looked away for 5 mins and by the time I looked back, my cars were already dusted up. Sweet!

    Had some kind of white slop fall from the sky for a bit. Each slop granule immediately split into pure hydrogen and oxygen from the intense heat of my lava-like yard and driveway. I might have heard a child cry in the distance.

    Lol, I am pretty nervous right now. I'm supposed to be in Bermuda from the 21st to the 23rd. At sea out of New York starting on the 18th. I'm getting twitchy over here.

    Soooo.. The good news is that Thurs, going into Friday at 2-3am, I have to start driving to Florida to catch a boat for vacation... Using standard Murphy compliance, my needing to drive on 95 means that this snow will definitely happen. I'll probably be ok though, right? I mean, I am not too worried about plowing through a few inches of snow.

    I am pretty amazed at how resilient our roads have been. It has been snowing pretty decently all day, but I feel like we have been stuck at the same snow cover all day.
