  1. Got well over 2 in here, about 8 miles to your west. 3 inches is a lock, at least.
  2. I've got 2 inches, Indy Hill side of Woodbridge, south of Manassas. 29.5.
  3. As long as you double checked it with the federal department of weights and measures, I'm satisfied.
  4. 7.5 total. Only 1.75 from round 2. I was about 15 miles too far south and east of the goods. In that several hour lull, I had sleet and freezing rain/drizzle. The round 2 bands set up about 40 miles north of what was modeled. As usual. Pretty uniform totals across PWC with 7 to 11 inches reported east to west.
  5. Happened here too. That's when my sleet and freezing drizzle turned back to snow and the direction of the flakes came from due north.
  6. I'm pretty sure Fredericksburg and North on the Stafford side got 6 or 7 in.
  7. Nice. I'm so surprised it filled back in and is actually light to moderate and accumulating once again. I spoke too soon when I said we ended on a weak note.
  8. Added .2 since 8pm and it's still going light but steady. Just shy of 7.5 total, but only 6.3 otg.
  9. Its accumulating nicely, which actually bothers me a bit since I spent a good amount of time scraping the snow clean from the driveway and walkway. I'm not sure I'll trade an extra inch for the inconvenience of having to do it again.
  10. We didn't finish very well here in eastern Prince William. Just came in from shoveling. Cold smoke this is not. Those hours of freezing drizzle and sleet made the snow compact like concrete. Only about 5 in on the paved driveway and walkway. The kind of snow that sticks to the shovel. Back-breaking actually. There was 7 inches on the vehicle and on elevated colder surfaces so my 7.25 looks about right. Very icy. 6.1 average ground depth. Nothing like the 10-12 many of you have. Congratulations!! Good stuff.
  11. Tapering off eastern PW and Fairfax. Losing lift maybe?? Pivot in full effect, stuck at 7.25 in. About 6.2 otg. Another 1/4 inch will get me to double digits for the season. Not completely in the screw zone, but as usual, on the lower end of the scale.
  12. 1st part of storm 5.75 4-5 hour lull with ip and zr and ice accruals on surfaces <.1 2nd part of storm 1.50 7.25 so far.
  13. Pulled 1 inch the last hour but snow has gotten even heavier. Best of the day. Just over 7 in for the event. Heavy snow, 29.4.
  14. Making a nice comeback...picked up .5 in the last 30 mins. Precip enhancing around the southern DC burbs
  15. Still in pixie needles in Woodbridge. Anything promising zig zags then blows up north of me. Still total of 6.1. Maybe we can cash in after nightfall and maximize each flake. Only 5.2 on the ground.
  16. 12 miles down Bristow Rd near me and it's been a different scene. Had 4 hours of ip and zr, then a burst for 15 mins, now just pixie flakes. Just unlucky for now.
  17. I picked up .3 in from that enhanced batch in PW. First accumulation since 8 am. Gets me over 6 in total. 5.3 otg.
  18. Ok...I'm a mile west of Spriggs, south of Hoadly. Probably eight miles or so Due West of you
  19. Did you notice the wind direction changed? Almost due north now. Big Fatty's but they are transitioning down to normal fluffy dendrites now
  20. It's trying. That was a pretty long period of sleet and freezing rain. Basically 3 hours of intermittent action. Pretty cool, especially if we can tack on an inch or two of fluff later.
  21. Finally. Dendrites are fighting their way through the sleet and freezing rain here in Woodbridge. Hopefully the warm nose is getting punched out of the area with the ull emergence and the costal taking over.
