I am surprised how many rip and read forecasts are going out tomorrow, esp near and north of pike. It looks pretty cool overall. I expect many angry posts from the public and rightfully so. SO what if it warms up after 4pm. Day is over.

It’s nice to see. I’ll take a big late season event, but aside from that I’m ready for nice weather and signs of life. I know Mitch wants a nuclear wasteland all year, but with kids now...it’s great to send them out and enjoy the nice weather. Things are still muddy though. A few patches still left in protected spots.

Yeah agree. Especially if clouds are not an issue.

The delivery isn’t the best on saturday to maximize temps. High pressure to the east and south flow. Looks like a Merrimack valley and SNH day. Still will be warm most other spots, but those areas I mentioned may be the warmest.

We had that 4 years ago. Lil bastards.

We had virtually none last year. I did notice these black beetles on some of my oaks. I think they’re borers? I killed what I could.

Best of both worlds. Become like the guy in Bakersville CT that has those cold temps and get dews as high as possible.

Is there a way to keep them if they do make sense? If the data is viable...I would think just to leave it in. I know it would help with those maps...but for scientific purposes you could just keep it in.

Well color me surprised how the last few weeks have turned out.

The euro also was a driving rainstorm a few days before and then jumped SE. it was pretty bad even a few days out. But over last 48 hours it did better. It was a hair too warm though.
