  1. LOL. Imagine this place if the only posts were from Jspin, PF, Phin, and Tamarack.
  2. Yeah, probably just lasts briefly, but verbatim would be active.
  3. That is a split flow look too. Verbatim, that might be active given the near to perhaps slightly BN heights over the SE.
  4. Rain looks good next week. Won’t be 5”, but should be fairly widespread.
  5. Yeah. Like I said, 5” or bust for them lol.
  6. What did I call? I just said they show rain. Probably a couple of shots within next 10 days or so. You greedy savages want like 5” at a time. It probably won’t work like that.
  7. It takes into account long term conditions. So, if you are still low in the yearly precip department, it will show you in a certain category. But, you are right in that it won't pick up on mesoscale stuff. If some town got 5" of rain from a stalled tstm, that graphic won't show it.
  8. I think it had that even in '13-'14 too. It just didn't make sense. I think we know in our heads what the temps may look like when we see those patterns, so I never take the 2m temps verbatim.
  9. Yes. That is a Pacific Puke CJ only LL and Forky would enjoy.
  10. For instance, if I saw ridging in the east and a pig near AK...then that is a toaster bath only Tippy could enjoy.
  11. Yeah verbatim I do like seeing Canada with low heights sort of "trapped" there. Ridging into AK is usually good for that, and seems like AO region near Poles has some higher heights. Fighting the SE ridge is just something you do in Nina's especially without a -NAO, but that verbatim isn't bad to me. I guess that is the UK seasonal or something like that?
  12. Last year was the first true BN winter snowfall wise and first winter without a 10" storm since '11-'12. That is impressive. Technically the guy in Hingham had only 8" in The Feb '16 paster, but he's a little closer to the water .
  13. What a persistent, pesky area of higher tops this has had all along. Strange system indeed.
  14. If you’re poo-pooing it, maybe we 5 tonight?
  15. Seems like the outer cirrus is ever so slightly trying to expand east a bit and maybe an eye trying to pop.
  16. That’s the band that flipped me back to snow with about 2” of mash potatoes. Just to my SW had like 5” from that. Real impressive. I have a Ginxy cell pic of that because the snow was getting on the camera lol. I’ll find it.
  17. Yeah we didn’t do as well as others did inland, but fun event. I’d take that any day in the early season.
  18. That is true. Can't hide that. One of the most vicious 3 hr periods I've ever seen. Brian was disrobing to the melted liquid in the MQE ASOS. 16.5" IIRC in that one. Most of that in 3 hrs.
  19. That was a hell of a month. One of the most damaging months we'll have in a long time. Between wind, cstl flooding, trees/outages etc....a hell of a month.
