  1. You can see the LLJ off New Jersey behind the rain shield. Almost like a little meso low with a warm front.
  2. Any wind will be after that rain shield moves in, but if you’re getting rain, you’re not gonna have much wind.
  3. Looks like BOx expanded HWW to the rest of SE MA like we talked about yesterday. Could be an interesting day around here.
  4. 53 outside. Temp rising faster than Kevin at bear week in Provincetown.
  5. May have a nice squall as secondary cold front comes through in SNE. Hi res shows it this evening.
  6. AI models are cooler fwiw on the 23rd. Hope for that especially SoP.
  7. Hope for 1-3 on the 23rd and somehow makes it through Christmas Eve night when it finally goes below 32. Other than that overnight runs meh. What a pattern.
  8. Us tomorrow? https://x.com/MyWeatherViewX/status/2001686271148572954?s=20
  9. Comes down to rain and mixing. If it rains it lowers temps and limits mixing. Ideally you want a break between 11-3p, but they’ll be times of downpours.
  10. Not stealing any joy, just saying what it shows. Hopefully it’s all further south.
  11. What? They always underperform relative to clown maps. But this one may have a little daytime heating help. Otherwise meh.
  12. I’m not Will but it was a big deviation from the blocking that models showed yesterday and last night. Wouldn’t react yet, but hope it comes back at 00z. Recall the op runs last night showing snow in NC lol.
  13. 18z Nam shows just that. Almost like a WF moving in with kink in isobars at 15z.
  14. BOX upgraded srn RI and along cstl MA to HWW. But imho, that logic should include the rest of SE MA
  15. You can see the temps bounce up and down on the hrrr. Almost looks like a batch of heavy rain late morning ahead of LLJ core and then more scattered after until fropa. Any breaks in between and sky brightness will help boost temps a tick or two. Hrrr is like 61 here lol.
  16. He’s around. But in his defense, the NWS is really getting hosed. It’s a tough situation for all of them and I’ll just leave it at that.
  17. Those runs were fairly mild though. I’m going to pretend 12z didn’t happen. It’s definitely volatile.
  18. Not sure what got into the 12z guidance, but vomit worthy today. Hope that changes.
  19. One little change here or there is like a 30F difference for us lol.
  20. Mild Christmas Day on euro. Just like the ones we used to know.
