My sled lies asleep and gathering rust. This is killing me. Lol. Last week was my planned Tahoe week and this week my boys are on the Maine trip. Nice 6 to 10 event in the Maine Mountains
Box afd 1 to 3 with a 2 to 4 caveat
Interesting though that the 3
KM NAM shows less of a warm layer than the 12 KM NAM. Perhaps this
might be a result of the higher resolution NAM picking up on the
strong forcing trying to erode that mid level warmth for a
time. The HREF/NAM both do show some probabilities of 1 inch per
hour snowfall
Lol you went low for 2 weeks and got burned so who is the weenie. Not saying this will but the taking the under way of forecasting is at the other end of weenie forecasting.
The further east you are down here the less the lift. It appears it will thump pretty hard for a couple of hrs especially in western central areas of all of SNE. Nice morning coffee mood stuff before it all goes to shit. Mud season awaits, we rejoice
Pretty easy here with a one inch ice crust. I take a bunch of measurements this time of year for my Cocorahs report and average but in the shade for w/e as the majority of the area is forested. The report from the FIT area was of snow vaporized off roofs and depth dropping fast. Probably a south side exposure
Looks like that bit of rain the other night was a godsend for keeping a nice wintry look here. Reports of snow getting vaporized in NMass. Just trickles next to the driveway. Sun felt great but clouds from the offshore storm mucking that up.
I will be long gone before climate warming kills me unless Kevs cat 4 hits
