GFS has been too far East with the players for 3 days.
I was on the beach for the Perfect Storm. Epic epic waves with rogue waves so big offshore they blocked the horizon flat line . Think we had sustained 60 for 18 hrs. Huge rock thrown up over the dunes dented my car. I watched one rogue wave over wash the dunes and flood a house down the street.
North Dakota is where you want to be. Euro has them behind the CF with initial 6 to 12 then as the low cranks up they deform with winds to 50 and another 24 to 36 .
Man big differences between the GFS and EURO on blizzard locations in the Upper Midwest. Both however are putting feet down with winds above 45 kts. GFS is in Minnesota while the Euro is North Dakota. At any rate that's an impressive early season storm.
