Temps in ACK limit. I am hoping for a great Windsexy squall tomorrow. 40 mph winds tomorrow, too bad I didn't get a couple of inches tonight. Ground blizzards are cool

Only time I can say ASOS matches up well with my obs is during high wind snowstorms. That's my ground truth here. Then again ASOS are not in rural hilly terrain so they are probably representative of flat open areas well

Google maps have had distance since they came out, trick was knowing it.

Asos are the worst though. I get your point but how many times do you see ASOS with light snow for 4 hours and then all of a sudden the observer is reporting 8 inches. I mapped out landmarks years ago. Cant tell you how many times I was 1/4 mile and area ASOS never fell under one half.

Guess you haven't read Kevs posts about me. I cant win, lol some call me cold, some call me hot, some like to smoke pot 9 days old. You should read all the disparaging remarks about me on the Jan 15 thread, start around Jan 2nd. Hammered on all sides. But like 2013 2014 2017 2018 I know my score. Totally busted on 2019 until Nov and Dec but since then pretty damn good. You however switch sides daily quicker than a Pink hatted Patriots and Red Sox fan, so there is that
