  1. We have watched the Euro gust maps with these southerly event storms and they have performed pretty damn good. Those maps are not any different from what Ryan said. When you see Euro soundings like this you need to raise HWW pretty far inland.
  2. Wind especially Hartford south and east. Eastern Mass is out of this one.
  3. Places that received 8 to 11 inches of rain in July get hammered again. Its gonna rain where it wants to rain
  4. Cross sections on some modeling is eye opening to the east. 850 winds are no joke. Any convective cells could be crazy
  5. Lahoots usually has a good one in August
  6. What give up on the Uk? Lol you pimped it for days and days
  7. if thats true you probably won't see much rain
  8. Jog west under the COD, click for full loop
  9. Izzy's story is yet tbd as models have changed daily as well as its impacts. Seeing upstream what I see is perhaps more of a typical parabolic swing off the coast which would mean just a great rain storm enhanced by barotrophic influences
  10. Much much stronger. Those outer bands gave us 70 plus mph gusts leading to week plus of no power. Irene maintained its integrity up until NYC. Different animal
  11. My preference not that it matters would be off the NJ coast to the BM, good rains, no wind and bombing surf
  12. What can happen is a barotrophic enhancement as it transitions to extratropical. All these posts this morning are pretty menial. I mean it is a weak TS but with lots of rain and coastal wind its not your everyday summer rain storm as depicted today anyway.
  13. 50 on the coast with leaves on trees is not a usual summer day. Pretty much all TS strength storms are LOL inland Mass
