  1. Yes new rule, we don’t want anymore threads deleted because of outsiders. See ya
  2. As we discussed last night, continental dry air, colder waters and poof to convection over the center. Still in the outer band in convection you can get a gust to 45 on the open ocean facing airports and heavy rain, but the 5 and 6 inch rains with gusts to 60 boat sailed all the way to Tolland
  3. ? I was talking about the landfall center. Not boring at all. Go back to your forum
  4. "Fay" a naked swirl devoid of precip and winds in the 30s makes LF in Central NJ
  5. Possibly a low end Cat 1 for sure. Winds are only 40 to 45 right now at sea, any interaction with the land will disrupt the organization. NJ and SLI probably hit hardest on the wind front then of course you have the Tstorm gusts either gust fronts or microbursts.
  6. With arrival inland as dark approaches any daytimeheating as mentioned above in Mr Bells post would be NYC area. I would say SWCT has the best shot at a low topped spinner. Under current trajectory LF in SNJ seems likely
  7. Why you gotta throw me out here, leave me out of it. Enjoy your TS talk, post some graphics, sat images or something, all you do is bitch
  8. Only surprised poster will be the one looking at 20 mph winds with a burst of heavy rain
  9. Euro is 1003, highest wind I see is 42 mph 100 miles east of the center over the open ocean. Once the circulation ingests continental air off the Midatalantic land and hits cooler waters this will be a heavy rain storm with some embedded gusts to 40 on the coast 25 to 30 inland.
  10. Fantastic read thank you. In 1993 as a grad student I published a paper on the effects of forest ecology from Hurricanes. I used the Harvard Forest extensively. Good stuff
