  1. Not a Kevin type hype post but I am very uneasy this year. Not liking this at all. The Bahamas is where we watch.
  2. Looking for a first 40s here tonight
  3. Storms to the north of me,downpours to the south, here I am stuck in the middle with you
  4. Meh we enjoy this before. Cocadoodledewless
  5. Sad there is such little enthusiasm about sports this year. The no fans thing definitely has put a damper on it. I just can't get into it. There is absolutely nothing better than Stanley Cup games in packed arenas. Feels like watching club hockey.
  6. Andrea? Wish I knew you were there. I would have taken a trip
  7. Yesterday was the first day in a long while it felt chilly in the pool at first but the afternoon sun was perfect. Nice hot stretch to wrap it up. You can feel it in the air its a last hurrah or 2 then football season.
  8. Heat then back to normal as we head into Sept
  9. 600 ridges, don't see this many UA sounding sites see that too often.
  10. Great story, was a special night 45 years ago this month.
  11. Epic night in Misquamicut Muddy Waters playing at one end of the beach JGeils the other. Hotter than sin even standing in the water. Beach was mandatory opened all night by the state. Crazy epic all nighter.
  12. I played there a bunch for free when they first opened, both courses. North is better. I hooked up one of our forum members with 25 dollar fees one year. It was a blast when I could play, beautiful course. That lake is filled with big bass too and there are a ton of huge snakes around
  13. Euro going for full heat wave next week.
  14. NYC is having a major problem that has no easy answer. This is an article by a NYC born and bred resident that goes through the list. Interesting read https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/nyc-dead-forever-heres-why-james-altucher/
  15. Gentrification is a major issue. Oakland San Francisco Los Angeles Boston all have pushed out their lower class, instituted huge rents, home costs and cost of living. The result is homelessness, families split up and more people giving up. Economic empowerment zones with businesses owned and operated by local residents was working and people were getting jobs and improving themselves then between the virus, riots and social unrest a lot of gains were lost.
  16. There was a nice breeze on 90% of the super hot days so that definitely helps. I think only 1 day was I saying this is too hot and headed inside. I don't work outside for a living but I imagine it was a brutal stretch for many.
  17. The 5 day 90s with high humidity is now 2 days with moderate then cool shots. Summer is not over until mid September as usual but each cooler shot is longer and the HHH less frequent and short lived. We are passed the worst part of summer and now on to the best part. Warm to hot days with lower humidity. We did it. Broken back Mt Tolland
