  1. Yea no thanks. I had enough problems with 200 ft
  2. Driveway Type Cost Per Square Foot Gravel $.50-2 Asphalt $1-5 Concrete $3-10 Pavers or Bricks $10-50
  3. Not many in my hood, many have driveways over a quarter mile long. They use small crushed grey stone and roll it. You can see them here. Not everyone lives on small lots.
  4. Dirt gravel driveways you can't get down to get all the snow off. It doesn't melt away like black top so it congeals, partially melts, and you end up with glare ice when it refreezes. I literally slid off my driveway while stopped once, plus forget about walking.
  5. There was discussion about driveways. This is what happens when you don't have asphalt /concrete this time of year. Mitch posted this. I was very happy when I went to asphalt. Too many days like this.
  6. People giving up on March may be in for a surprise come mid month.
  7. Ray grades on number of big storms and KUs , others on whole overall appeal
  8. Snow still hanging tough around here. Up at my sister in laws. The top of my hill is a 4 to 6 . My yard is half empty.
  9. True let’s hope we can get some DSD full sun warm days and begin Spring activities
  10. Hopefully when we get past this stretch we can finally get to some nice Tippy Tulip days.
  11. Oddly enough that’s the time period EPS gets active again with precip and some members attempt to develop a coastal
  12. 10 days ago this 5 day period shown was supposed to look like today’s 10-15 shows, instead we end up with this. As Kevin says cold and dry. Add in some wind and it’s your typical March crap
  13. Looks like gusts to 50 with Arctic front. Haven't had one of those in a while
  14. Since it’s not over until March wraps up I will grade by quarters. Dec B plus. Jan F Feb A - March TBD
  15. Crazy stat and I didn't realize what a good year 87 was Sunapee had 61 days above 40 inches. I need to go back and look at 87. It seems to have left my memory. I remember the Jan storms but that is it
  16. Saw discussion in the NNE thread about longest run of 12 plus pack. 57 days in 2015 and 53 in 2011 here. A plus epic winters feature long deep packs. Using 8 inches as pack 2001 led the way with 80 followed by 2003 with 74. Using 6 inch pack 2003 tops the list with 87 followed by 2005 and 01 with 86. The longest continously pack of at least one inch was 05 with 107 followed by 78 with 106, 1987 was a sneaky good year with 97. This is from the nearby coop at North Foster since 1976. Places like ORH of course blow that away but airports don't keep depth records anymore which sucks. Blue Hill had 70 days of 12 plus in 1948
  17. Pattern seems boring but appears ripe for the rare these days, Albert Clipper EDIT. 6Z GFS just showed one LR. GFS and all but give it a look see.
  18. Coyotes loud howling woke the whole house up at 430. Very eerie
