How far is that first hill from you. 1/4 mile or less visibility corresponds to heavy snowfall intensity, between 5/16 and 5/8 mile corresponds to moderate intensity, and greater than 5/8 mile corresponds to light intensity

Whitecap melts out the quickest of all the 8 peaks. Has more southern exposure at the base. There is an amazing difference between Whitecap and Aurora, Jordan Bowl in snowfall as well. Has to be some upslope effect.

I taught my youngest skiing at Bretton, after 5 runs he was on his own after 5 more he begged me to rent a snowboard. The rest is history, damn shredders. Should have known, him being a skateboarder and surfer.

I can not talk about this version of Wildcat but rather the older version. We skied Wildcats 2 for 1 Wed specials for a decade it seemed. A mid size hill, best views in New England, a mini Sunday River for trail layout and fun. I understand this year it has been neglected, sad to hear. When it dumps it was heaven
