  1. Went from warmest pool temp in June ever at 87 degrees to coldest July temp of 66 in 5 days. POR 14 years
  2. We have a routine for the dogs with 3 totally frightened. We give them a natural calming dose then close all the windows and turn on fans and crank up the surround sound. Neighborhood was quiter than last year, probably because of no more stimulus money. Some good bangers off in the distance but pretty typical 4th. Fantastic day in Willimantic with friends pool to hot tub to pool day. Sunshine and 74 degrees felt great.

  4. September 19 to 21st is summer climo not record keeping fake summer
  5. For the first time in years I have to agree with you on the cane threat this year.
  6. Lol Stratus and tipper have been very close this week. I cleaned out the tipper Wednesday when I changed the battery. Pretty funny watching a yellow finch riding the anemometer cups like a merry go round this morning. Full day of binging season 7 of Bosch in store. Tomorrow at least I can grill, and clean the pool where I can go to get warm.
  7. I mowed Thursday and got everything done just before the rain. Weed whacked as it started and finished yesterday. Plush as it has ever been. Garden exploded with te heat and rain. Next weeks heat and rain will just add to the tropical look. Great for the wells ground water reservoirs and lakes. This will carry us through the summer. Drought monitor cancel....
  8. If its 120 degree heat index and we are stuck inside does it really matter. Thats a reasonable comparison. Now if its 90 over 68 then yea HHH. But either end of that spectrum sucks. Hoodies and sweatpants on July 4th weekend while cruising Falmouth shores is ridick
  9. Only 2.13 here so you can put to bed the Ginx jackpot line. Holy crap dude mulch beds washed out stuff.

  13. Sand or blue. I caught a six foot blue just off the golf course on a boat. Tons of porgies in the water
  14. 18 Z Euro for Sunday shows a day of pop up showers and breaks of destructive sunshine. 500 mb temps are unusually cold leading to almost a windex pop up squall. Crazy
  15. Its like a tropical forest here. I went out this morning to clear a path around the outside of the fences, 3 sides are forest. I ended up changing the weed whacker for the Bush whacker. Heavy heavy growth.
