  1. We destroyed them yesterday. Lol my pool hit them hard as well.
  2. Well it was glorious in the water and had the evaporative chill when you got out. No work today so didn't feel muggy this afternoon, and tonight with the 74 degrees and 68 DP its really a nice night
  3. I sprayed my entire yard with pet safe insecticide and the fenced gardens with spetracide . Aint no bugs on me. Have blue light solar bug zappers out here along the deck rail as well. Perfect night, having some beers, deck fire pit lit. Great ending to a fantastic day.
  4. Its frigging summer lol dps low 60s and hot sun. What an afternoon. Fix your dp sensor, then again you wet we dry last 3 days.
  5. Its absolutely gorgeous out here right now
  6. Glad we don't live there. Check your winter spot of ORH for real non mulch bed DPs
  7. IYep IJD ORH was 83/61 for 3 hours as well. 13:52 85 62
  8. Nuclear is what we need. Gas and oil go hand in hand. We alone won't make a dent sorry just isn't true. We reduced our Carbon output CO2 emissions in 2019 were the lowest they have been since 1992. Per capita emissions were lower in 2019 than they’ve been at any time since at least 1950 Went through a global shutdown yet CO2 still rose. The climate debate is for another forum.
  9. Perfect hot summer day. This is how it should be. No mank no excessive humidity was 86/62 at prime pool time.
  10. What do you think powers the electricity generated to run your friends Tesla. Look at California and ask yourself what will happen when the reusable grid fails. Also are exchanging one problem for another. Batteries use rare earth metals and are toxic when disposed. The best path forward uses a combo of energy with fossil backup always available.
  11. All battery now for all my tools including a chainsaw, won't go back
  12. Wiz has a master bator en suite
  13. Destroyed the wiring harness on my rider. So many times when I was a firefighter the cause of fire was mice chewing wiring. Again before changing blown fuses check your wiring.
  14. 90% of the time fuses blow for a reason always best to check first before replacing a fuse
  15. Some of you know I have coached Women's softball for 20 plus years. Last night my wife had an 845 game, lightning from the Enfield HFD storm was visible. The umpire wanted to call the game but I objected and showed him the radar,he said well what do you know. I told him I dabbled a bit in weather. He said big deal meteorologists are wrong half the time on the hard calls. I laughed and said hey man play ball. Fast forward 6th inning close play at first, pretty sure she was safe, he called her out. Don't know where it came from but I yelled yea umpires are like meteorologists they are wrong half the time on tough calls. The place broke out into laughter, he laughed as well. Needless to say no storm came close to the IJD field. As a bonus after the game the league President came up to me to tell me I had been voted by the league women to coach their All Star team. Good night lol
  16. My Fuking hatred for mice is at top of the list. Good job diagnosing
  17. Ice and benadryl. Got stung on the eye by a bald faced hornet while weed whacking the other day. Feel for ya
  18. Yep Scarab everywhere. Pretty beneficial beetle they eat fleas and other lawn pests that eat lawn shoots
  19. Yep everywhere even in the bird feeders. Watched a woodpecker nail one this morning. Ah dews which everyone loves.
  20. Heck a couple of the small summer squash rotted on the lower end of the plant. Others are fine, tomato plants are absolutely huge over 7 feet but only flowers. Had a bad Japanese beetle problem on the Broccoli but was able to pick two full heads. Hopefully fixed the beetle problem with a mixture of fire pit ash, water, and some insecticide. Wouldn't want to be a farmer this summer.
  21. I had a trace for the second day in a row. Awesome let's dry it out today with full sun all day our tomatoes are begging
