    I really like those 0 degree days with diamond dust falling, the snow crunching, the trees cracking as the sun warms the bark. Minus 30 degree windchill where your snot freezes and your lungs hurt aren't fun but neither is 95/75. Making the best of the worst though. Stay in AC or heat when it's intolerable. Not like we have consistently bad outside conditions. Minor inconvenience

    The natural beauty of snow is enough for me. Winter enthusiasts have multiple reasons for their love of winter as do you of summer. I love all the seasons and would not trade it.

    Summer as summer should be. People ending summer Sept 1 or Labor day haven't lived here long or have a misconception of Met summer which is put in place for standardized record keeping.

    Yesterday was the first day I ran my AC all month. Dehumidifier downstairs a couple of times. 70/64 here no AC needed.

    Vegetation has a shelf life. Very obvious now with weeds, grapes, vegetables all dying that slow death. Lots of leaves falling as well. Chlorophyll will change based on light and water its inevitable.

NBD but let's be fair, when you say hottest ever then say well it wasn't you should correct the record. You know follow the science and all. Scientists like accurate information. Their maps always bug me. One if these things is not like the other.

    Excuse me, I said the world is warming but won't take non facts thrown out like candy off a firetruck at a parade. Fact is for BDL for the period 9-1 to 9-16 the normals went up .3 degrees. Go home little man your forum is calling you.

    Remember all the hype when NOAA announced that July world wide was the hottest month ever? Remember the hype when they had to revisit and its no longer the hottest ever? Didn't think so. World is warming no doubt but manipulation of data, information to make hype and then backwalk it with little fanfare is the way of the world now.
