Do you remember any flash freeze? It's really crazy when it happens. In 94 I was living in Ashaway RI awoke to 9 degrees it started raining at 11 degrees we had a great ice storm. The next morning full sun and above freezing by 4 an Arctic front approached it was 40 degrees with water everywhere. There was a very heavy rain squall that came through which quickly turned to snow the temp plummeted in minutes to 25 degrees. Insta freeze everything in a half hour. I mean things like water dripping off the houses and cars. So cool

Lol it was 54 on my car thermo when I pulled into Columbia. Have to say that the snow really absorbed all the rain and heat at home still looks like full winter. Even bushes still have snow on them.

Exactly. I had the responsibility of calling off work for 100 employees with huge implications on financial bottom line. Sometimes 50k to 100k if large events were scheduled that day. My best call was 12/13/07. I called work an hour before that wall came in. Everyone made it home. We lost a 75 k Bar mitza that night. We all remember the nightmares in New England that day. The CEO of Foxwooss called me and thanked me. I was trusted after that and did not make an uneeded call once. But believe me I took a lot of shit from a lot of people but safety is number one as you said.

Not much snow left in Columbia up on the hill. At home there's a solid 2 to 4 with some 5/6 inch spots. Looks like we will survive with full cover at home. Guess winter is over in Tolland but continues at home if one uses the DIT logic
