Nice looking snowgrowth this morning. Accumulation on all surfaces, temp has fallen 2 degrees last hour. 28⁰ with moderate snow. About a half inch down. Tanning the nape yesterday in 60s to instantly accumulating snow. Good stuff

Some NAM Bufkit numbers IJD PYM next to storm Ave ratio are snow amounts so IJD 8 inches on .46 PYM 11 inches on 1.09

With ratios and excellent snow growth I would bump that up 20%

What most models are showing is an initial burst of frontogenic forcing with a quick inch or 2 then snow lightens up but reinvigorates as the coastal takes over with heavier rates south of HFD County. The larger amounts look to be in ECT SCT and especially in areas that either get into the CCB or the INVT. But it's all now cast time.

Seeing as we get more snow in March than Dec and with models showing cold shots and deep cold in Canada I would be shocked.
