There are distinct key sayings that either give you wood or shrinkage. Kids won't understand what it feels like to have to listen to weather radio or wait 12 hours for a news update. I don't know how many times I got up from bed to watch the 11 pm news with my Dad just to watch the weather report in winter or laid in bed listening to weather radio hoping to hear good news.

One term I hated and still hate to this day. I can hear Don Kent's voice in my head saying " Well it looks like our storm is headed up the St Lawrence Seaway and we will be on the warm side of things" I would turn the radio off in disgust and as a kid be mad all day. Lol

Looks like the 22nd will be the transition to a winter pattern. Have to watch for a Leon type pattern next weekend. A glimmer 0f hope this morning.
