    We are part of a rescue group, my wife is on the Board of directors. I have 8 of those animals you describe. We have brought them back to being happy dogs again. We also foster and deal with every situation imaginable. We have successfully adopted out 67 dogs in 4 years. The rescue over 2000. My wife is headed to Virginia next weekend to get a Mom and 4, 2 week old pups from a kill shelter. They were scheduled to be euthanized next week but we stepped in.

    Restructuring, eliminated my Director position 25 years, the Research Directors position 35 yrs and my employee 25 yrs. 85 yrs of combined service. Tough being thrown out to pasture at 62 years old. Thank god my wife has insurance. On the job hunt.

    Think he means in the wind. A snowboard won't do you any good. Take ten measurements in the most undrifted areas and average, of course you need to measure in a cleared area unless you take depth measurements religiously.

    Out of a job my 45 minute commute for 25 years is over. Dont think it ever took more than an hour . Now going over my options, change is tough.

    No winter is severe belly to belly unless you live on a mountain or near the Arctic circle. Severe pieces, like the coldest 12 day stretch in history last Dec to Jan ending in a blizzard , the 1934 Feb, the 15 incredible snow and cold 6 weeks, the 02 03 continuous snow cover from late Dec to April. The Jan 94 and 04 brutal assaults. Severity is not long lasting in time but long lasting in memory
