    Geoff Nancy and Dr Mel the WTNH trio for me as a kid and if memory serves correct Keith Kountz and Mark Davis were news anchors at the time and Mike Bogaslowski who was always in YOUR CORNER! Such good memories

    I feel so bad for all the times I tooled on him over the years. He really was a big part of my TV weather experience growing up. RIP Geoff.

    No Stein issues here. Well over an hour of heavy rain with some thunder and lightning. A few gusts and marginally threatening sky before the deluge. I'm thinking close to two inches of rain....lots of minor flooding/ponding on roadways

    51F pouring rain at times over the past hour....what a wonderful day! Impressive for 8/20 with precip. I'm not being sarcastic, I love this kind of a break during a generally warm muggy summer.

    I wouldn't be surprised if we saw as many as another half dozen days here in the lower valley where we flirt with 90. Seems pretty easy to do down here

    I think this winter is going to surprise many folks. The warmanistas and snow haters may be in for a surprise. But until then I got a bad ugly feeling about the rest of summer and the first half of fall. I see southerly screamers with dews into the 60s to near 70 and severe threats into the northern mid Atlantic until Halloween.

    If that has to happen please can we modify the single digits to afternoon highs in the upper teens and low 20s under mostly sunny skies and light variable winds?

    It really wouldn't surprise me, especially down here and out towards the Taunton/New Bedford area with another pocket down in extreme SW CT.

    These dews are insane I hope he's happy up there on the mountain. Doesn't really need to be much more than 80 when the dews are this high

    So it has become a great place for ice fishing then between the perch and bluegill...well thanks for responding. Some great memories there some 40 years ago.

    We got a few bass, pickerel, yellow perch and good size American Eels but never any bullheads. Do you know if it ever produced those?

    I used to love fishing Lake Garda when I was a kid. Big bluegills and lots of them. Used to go with my buddy Jimmy Johnson and then we'd clean em up and cook em on the grill.
