Does any one know if Bretton Woods or any of the other New Hampshire ski resorts will be denying lift tickets to out of state travelers (due to 14 day quarantine) requirement?
I am coming up Saturday morning and I dont want to deal with any fake bs from health dept people
The NH travel restrictions are really just suggestions. No one checks or enforces them as far as I know. We're the COVID Tiujana of New England. Just hop over the border and have some fun.

Perhaps he has an organic mud farm there?
Lol...just trying to hang on to outdoor hobbies as long as possible.

Jesus, that 12z Euro is really borderline close to a condo collapser here. I've been in hibernation but that woke me up. I need an early season storm like I need a hole in the head. Want to keep the ground dry and ice free as long as possible in this hell that is 2020. Thankfully it likely won't work out.

Seems like SE winds are the worst for that siting. Always lower than MHT
I think MHT is a little more exposed than ASH. ASH isn’t really in a crater but the whole city is kind of a crater so I don’t think it matters.

ASH maxed at 33 mph. Legendary wind pit.

“Picking up” a little to maybe 25 or 30 mph. Irene was better here.
-
Just can’t buy a decent gust here.
-
MHT gusted to 40 mph. Still haven't gotten close to that here.
-
Can't wait for my 35 kt gust later. Glad you guys in CT are getting some interesting wx.

Just a passing thundershower if we're being honest.
Some of the most intense rain I've seen in a while but who really cares about that. Wind was maybe 25-30 mph down by the mall when it went through.

88/75 at ASH. Someone issue a swampass warning.

Gonna be some surprise posters based on tinight. Envision a lot of “ wow, I had no idea winds inland would be this strong” and .. “ wish I had filled my bathtub” and “ whoa, the spinner tossed my abandoned tires into the pool”
For the toaster?

Even the tropical systems suck this year.

Few rumbles of thunder and a few raindrops. Not even enough to completely wet the pavement.
It was torrential white rain for 10 minutes downtown.

Lol! I own an irrigation company, this is welcome news! Takes a lot of stress of us especially nearing a holiday, however, send some to Nashua, gosh everything so near me but not a drop!
We've really whiffed everything the last two days. Great for getting to spend time outside, not so great for some of the desert-like lawns I've seen around town.

Not sure if we’ve had a drop here since Sunday night.

Few rumbles of thunder earlier but it has turned into a beautiful night.

12z NAM/GFS looked slower to me than 00z. Euro was a little faster.
GFS is the slowest. My best guess right now is it comes through here around 18zish. Would love to see it a little earlier.

I expected the Euro to come in a hair slower. We take and enjoy our Saturday afternoon.

Looks like the timing of the front Saturday might be slowing a hair on the models. Could make things a little interesting.

Sat could be a sneaky downslope dandy if the front clears in the morning. Euro has lingering 850s around 10C and west flow
Yeah I wouldn't be surprised if Saturday is the crappier of the two days. If we can sneak out a dry Friday afternoon and evening I'll be thrilled.

Friday and weekend look like 'rhea
Euro is the most 'rhea-y of the modeling. Hopefully the majority of the rhea is overnight Friday and early Saturday morning with the FROPA. Neither Friday or Saturday looks like a washout. At least in ern areas.
-
Thinking we might be able to get away with a mostly dry Friday in ern SNE. We need as many dry Fridays and Saturdays as we can get.
Dec 5/6th major coastal/ west Atlantic cyclogenesis ...?

I could see my hood being the battleground area between cold rain with some slush as it pulls away and total deck destroyer. Going to take an absolute miracle for any kind of decent snow near the CP. Obviously have to favor the ORH hills and Monads for the best in SNE, if we get anything at all, at this point.
