    Looks like the Jamstec is going drier and warmer than the December run.

    Well, I don't want an ice storm of death, but bummer it will just be a pouring rain, though we need one badly.

    Decently light snow now in Keller area. A dusting finally.

    Flurries in north Fort Worth. A bit of a surprise this early. We have to go to Abilene tomorrow, so while I want a surprise decent snow after not seeing anything last winter really, I don't want too much. Lol We can reschedule if needed luckily.

    NWS doesn't even mention it in the official forecast for Friday. I'm hoping, but it's clear whatever does happen will be very minor.

    The 18 GFS fantasy Christmas storm makes me excited like a kid since I will be in Abilene, but it's obviously nonsense and will change and probably already has. So cold! Be nice to finally get into the teens and get rid of any lingering mosquitos.

    Well, forecast low was a bust. Barely got to freezing. My old stomping grounds in West TX got a dusting of snow though.

    I am usually of the mind to wait to call winter cancel, but this is getting alarming. Still plenty of time to turn around though.

    Well, a nice shock. Have nearly 3 inches just this morning in north Fort Worth. But, it's such a narrow streaks of rainfall unfortunately. The big shield that was west of us just evaporated overnight.

    Okay, well, what a difference a day makes. Just checked the latest GFS....virtually no rain for DFW. If my West TX old stomping grounds get 5 inches and I get .20, I am going to be mad...

    Finally. Need a decent rain to overcome the dent. Ready for a bit cooler temps, no matter how brief.

    I'm not really too upset about the recent dry spell since we had a wet period not too long ago, but a bit frustrating seeing everybody around DFW getting rain of late. Definitely ready for this week's horrid temps to be over....
