  1. I wonder if there'll ever be a time when I can post that...
  2. Nothing in Tamaqua yet, but saw some reports of light snow in Girardville (Mahanoy City area) so it's close.
  3. Thanks. It's going to be a fun ride tomorrow...
  4. I'm supposed to do three loads tomorrow. Deadhead to Tower City, turn three Sunbury's from TC, and then deadhead home from Sunbury. A solid 11+ hour day when it's dry and I can "turn and burn". I don't think three is going to happen tomorrow. How are the roads out there when it snows and then blows and drifts? I'm really concerned about 225 fro E-ville to Berrysburg, but info on 147 would be nice as well, if you know.
  5. Road should cave instantly once it starts here. Temp is 29 currently.
  6. They need to take into consideration where I drive my truck then, too...
  7. Did anyone notice the Tamaqua snow hole on CTP's snowfall map?
  8. If I do this Tower City to Sunbury run tomorrow, I'm going to have to watch for drifting snow I suppose. PA-225 from Elizabethville to past Berrysburg is a lot of open farm land. I think tomorrow's going to be an interesting day depending on how much we get. Guess I'll try to bring the GoPro out and make a video.
  9. Yes I did. Corresponding with that was a rapid rise in temps before they crashed again. From 3:20am to 4:20am the temp shot up from 25 to 33, then dropped sharply afterward. There was also a light dusting of snow on my Jeep, and any bare ground where the dog killed the grass.
  10. Haha... I didn't know, but that's cool! Back when I moonlighted as a newspaper photographer, I probably would have been there covering it, but now, I work way too many hours trucking. As for the snow, I have mixed feelings. I'd have been much happier if it came Friday night instead of tonight...lol
  11. Down to 20 degrees already. I'm wondering if I make a run at low teens/single digits even without snow cover tonight?
  12. Either way, it robs parts of CPA of qpf, and therefore good snow amounts.
  13. The Miller B screw zone shows up quite nicely (and right in my backyard to boot) on those maps.
  14. Memorial Day. We set the tone in 2021. This year it'll be even colder...
  15. lol...not quite. PSU Hazleton was for awhile, but I believe he moved to NYC. I'm over here all by my lonely old self...
  16. Paying the piper also means paying the oil man...
  17. Thanks MAG for another great writeup and analysis! You're a treasure to the forum! That being said, that Euro map is 12+ for me. I might have an off day if that would verify...lol
  18. I've been on the wrong side of those brutal cutoffs so many times. Once where I got 1-2 inches at my house, and the Lehigh Valley had 15+ inches just 30 miles south.
  19. I just looked at those and even ABE is just a shade under 5" on the 21z. That can't be right...
  20. If this keeps up, it's going to be an I-81 special, which I don't really need. My Jeep is acting up, pulling hard to the right from the rear when I hit a bump, and especially on ice. On Monday morning it's going to the shop that installed my lift kit to see what's causing it. It could just be an alignment issue, or it could be something in the suspension. Either way I need to safely get it there AND have them test drive it to get to experience the "feel", so I'm hoping Monday is dry, and the Thursday/Friday storm produces.
  21. Excellent description. I just wish mine kept recording data in a power outage. You'd think for the nearly $300 price tag, it would have battery backup.
