For anyone so interested, on August 13th two operating steam locomotives will doublehead to pull an iron horse ramble from Reading through Tamaqua to Jim Thorpe.

What was it? We had good, heavy rain about 7pm, but no thunder. We did end up with 0.99" total from the morning and evening rain, though.

Just hit up YouTube and search Phoenix monsoons. If you get under a potent one, you can get 80 to 100 mph winds and 2-4 inches of rain.

I got .36" overnight/this morning in my backyard, but 1.50 to 1.91 inch fell in local pws's in Andreas as a storm hit right as I was arriving at our shop this morning. It was an all out deluge. Water and mud was flowing across the road leading in, and our parking lot was a 2 inch deep lake.

No. My company is a mom & pop. I'll probably have to take a leave of absence/quit and then get temporary work while I'm out there since I figure I'll be there for at least a few months.
