  1. It doesn't have to be 5 and 15 for that, though.
  2. Hate it... I'm sick of this polar crap. Give me seasonal temps. 20 for the low and 35 for the high.
  3. Looks like the rain is moving in quicker than expected. I was under the assumption that it would be a late afternoon arrival, but it appears to be but a few miles away from me here in Sunbury.
  4. And that's just the way I like it. That way I don't have to shovel it. After all, my name's Steve, not Jeb...lol
  5. Not so much. When I was in construction, and getting laid off for the winter, I didn't care how much it snowed.
  6. Seeing as how I drive for a living, it's better if the roads just stay wet.
  7. As long as it washes the salt off the roads and doesn't change to snow before ending, which would bring the salt trucks back out, I'm ok with it.
  8. I don't get the whole "its melting on the roads" thought process. As long as everything else is white, who cares? It's less work and less slop if the streets and sidewalks stay wet.
  9. I won't speak for him, but for me it's an emphatic NO
  10. I was in spring mood already. With the warm weather the past few days, we finally lost the last of the snow (ice) in our backyard yesterday afternoon. Now it's back again...
  11. Woke up just now to 1.25" on the concrete walkway in my backyard. Front sidewalk and street have not fully caved, but I suppose that's from the leftover salt that I put down as well as the borough's salt/anti-skid mixture from last Friday's sleet and ice event. If future radar is correct in it's depiction, it appears that we have another hour of light snow here before it shuts off.
  12. Seems like Ralph Wiggum's (from the Philly thread) 60 degree rule is a real thing. He claims that within 2-3 days of a high temperature during winter of 60 or higher results in snow a couple days later. Tonight seems to be proving his theory to be true.
  13. We never get bullseye'd here in Tamaqua, but we sure do fringe jobs right. A coating to an inch? I'd rather get nothing than get another salt truck mess maker...
  14. I just washed my Jeep today, so rest assured guys and gals, the accumulating snow will verify north of the predictions.
  15. I'm particularly fond of the 3k NAM right now...
  16. Just enough to bring the damn salt trucks out...again.
  17. I has 21/57 for today's high and low. What a beautiful afternoon!
  18. 49.6 at home in Tamaqua right now. Almost 50 before noon! I'm lovin' it!!! Ba da ba ba ba...
