Anyone else notice the wind picking up today? Over here it's getting quite breezy.

With what some of the short term meso's keep showing, I'm starting to get a gut feeling this is going to be an over achiever event.

Almost every model gives me at least one inch of snow overnight, but quite a few deliver more. Will be anxious to see what the 12z suite shows later. At any rate, I'm off today for the holiday, but tomorrow I'll be back at it, and while I usually take the GoPro out Thursday or Friday, I believe that tomorrow will be an excellent day to do my weekly trucking vlog.

NWS is going 2-4 for my backyard. Never in my wildest dreams did I think I'd be freezing my ass off on Easter Sunday to go outside and have a smoke while tracking a winter storm. It almost feels like it should be New Years Day or something...

If the plants are small enough, you could try my 5 gallon bucket trick. It would keep the snow from squashing them.

At 2pm the temp was 68 degrees. Now we're down to 47.8 damp, rainy degrees.

I was only 8 years old, but I do remember that 1976 heatwave quite well. I think it was Easter weekend, and the house was so hot because we didn't have the window air conditioners in yet.

Perhaps. I doubt I see anything other than maybe white rain down here, but up on the I-81 ridge top from Tremont to Hazleton (which is an entirely different world weatherwise) there could be.

I'm not sure about downright cold for Christmas. 30 for the high is ok. I do like both Thanksgiving and Christmas to be overcast and gray, though.

The wife won't move so I'm stuck unless I want a divorce. Add in my mom's health and the fact that I feel I should be out there (AZ) where she lives to help her out doesn't help any. And even with that, my wife will not move out there, even to help her mother in law. So I'm kind of stuck between a rock and a hard place and not doing well right now.

I really need to take a break from the weather in general. This shit is depressing me beyond belief. So much so that if I don't, it WILL be detrimental to my health. All I want is seasonal 60's and 70's. Not more rainy cold...
