  1. I'm surprised no one's talking about the wind. Seems pretty strong today.
  2. If I had those powers, I'd certainly use them!
  3. Starting this thread must have reversed it...lol
  4. One season at a time there big guy...
  5. Adding tomorrow into the mix, it's indicating 1.5 to 3 inches possible for my backyard. That's on top of the .77" I got last night. Looking at potentially close to 4 inches from the 2 events.
  6. No. That only applies to severe weather. Plain old synoptic rain is immune to the split...lol
  7. 0.77" for event #1 here last night. Much more than I expected.
  8. ♫ Hey hey...you you...get out of my thread... ♫
  9. 0.64" now. I did not expect this much rain to fall this evening...
  10. I'm a turf traditionalist. Nothing but turfgrass is allowed in my lawn...lol As for the rain. We're up to 0.43" now.
  11. Any clover that shows up in my yard gets zapped by a lawn weed killer...lol
  12. Haha... 0.04" here. But like Canderson said, the ground is wet.
  13. I'd certainly take a flier on the humidity if I could at least have warm mornings. I really enjoy not having to take a jacket that I need when it's 48 when I start my work day.
  14. 46.4 in my backyard this morning. Oh, and I don't need mid 90's. I just don't want mid 60's. Not in June anyway...
  15. I'm on the edge of a high cloud deck. Mostly cloudy to my north and brilliant blue skies to my south.
  16. We are expected to wash it once per week. Sometimes it doesn't work out, but if we don't make attempts, we get told about it. Most times I have to go in on a day off, like I did yesterday morning, to get it done. They sure look nice when they are clean, which is why it gets frustrating when it rains a day or two later. Going past Meckley's quarry, mine gets really messed up if the road is wet, due to all the dirt the dump trucks drag out of there. Here's my nice clean ride after yesterday morning's bath...
  17. I am so sick of seeing a chance of showers in the forecast nearly every day. I sure wish we'd get a good old fashioned summer long drought. I spend three hours washing my truck (it's a job requirement) for what amounts to one to perhaps two days before it gets road grimed again from the rain. We get paid to do this, but it's pretty damn labor intensive when you have to do it by hand with a bucket and a 12" brush. Trust me when I say this, it is NOT the same as washing a personal automobile...
