  1. Sure wish it would warm up out here. Highs only in the 50's for the next 7 days...
  2. Check out my niece's Flagstaff backyard this morning, and they are less than halfway through the event...
  3. NWS forecast snow totals for I-17 above 5,500ft running south to north. Milepost 340 is Flagstaff proper
  4. Well Flagstaff is supposed to get 2 ft of snow over the next 3 days, so we sometimes do have weather... Still, I had to laugh when I saw your post. Good one!
  5. Gotta ask this here. I moved to Phoenix, AZ this past August from Pennsylvania. I was and still am a frequent poster in the Central PA subforum. Now that I'm out west, is this the best place to discuss Arizona weather, or should I start a thread more oriented to the southwest?
  6. I know it can snow in Florida, but it's nothing like Flagstaff and the AZ high country snows. I think technically, some locations up there are classified as an Alpine climate. Side note on the Christmas cold snap, some said there were flurries at the Dolphins game. Not sure if that was actually verified, though. *edit - I guess it actually did flurry in Miami that day*
  7. Sure seems like it. If only my parents had moved to Florida instead of Arizona...
  8. Just pickin' on ya about the typo...or brain fart...lol
  9. Punting this winter and looking at the December models???
  10. So this is the forecast for the AZ high country. How much you want to bet I get sent up there Monday and/or Tuesday?
  11. I already admit that it's my fault, you guys may as well, too. Haha...
  12. That's Mexico. I said the country, not the conus...
  13. In PA? I think I reversed the whole damn country...lol
  14. It might have. In Arizona. If you are brave enough, take a look at the GFS Kuchera clown map at 192 hrs. The EURO cuts those numbers in half, but still...
  15. It's supposed to get active out here next week, starting on Sunday. That means Flagstaff snow. Book your flights now...
  16. This is a good point, but how much is too much? If the excessive runoff is filling the depleted reservoirs, then it's good. If it's just eventually flowing back out into the Pacific, then it's not so beneficial.
  17. It's definitely needed out there (here) even if I don't particularly like it.
  18. And 'till all is said and done, she'll track right over Duluth, MN...
  19. This is what it looked like heading back to Phoenix after delivering and picking up...
