  1. @MAG5035I have no current plans to come back to PA. But we are going to be warm, as in mid 80s next week, so there is SOME hope...
  2. CTP with a great sense of humor tonight. Check out the third image in their latest Facebook post...lol https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=pfbid0MDhdHwQxEuBcNsoVF7mhtyLgATMgkJjHejGtPPSWdbjsYya6FXBYLfo3yhxnBgRJl&id=100064725904699
  3. We're likely to crack 80 out here for the first time since October this weekend, so hopefully that bodes well for your snow chances back there.
  4. Don't know if it was ice or driver error, but this happened on I-81 near Ravine today...
  5. Do I need to fly back there and make it snow for you guys???
  6. I'm just going to drop this here and then see my way out...
  7. Pic my niece took this morning (3/2/23) from her front porch. This winter's been unbelievable up in Flagstaff.
  8. I'll have to check. It was very windy here on the west side and there's severe warnings on the east side right now.
  9. If I still lived in PA and loved snow, I'd probably be quite pessimistic right now about the upcoming potential considering the overall winter pattern up to this point.
  10. Just watched a video from an Los Angeles news channel, and they showed snow on the ground along the I-210 corridor in the Inland Empire from San Bernardino through Fontana, Rancho Cucamonga, and into Claremont. How crazy is THAT???
  11. That's when winter's going to hit. When no one wants it anymore.
  12. Check out this perfect rainbow my friend Don captured in Tamaqua (Hometown) earlier today...
  13. So guess who's going north tomorrow? Yup. Me... I'll probably get the Prescott store delivered, but Flagstaff is, as far as I'm concerned, no bueno. I'm not going up there in blizzard-like conditions, although Prescott isn't going to be a walk in the park, either.
  14. I'll see your 40 and raise you 10. Our winds (gusts) out here on Wednesday may run in the 45-55 mph range. As for today in Tamaqua, 61 appears to be the high.
  15. I just checked. 55 in my backyard in Tamaqua. Your warm weather and my abnormally "chilly" winter is not helping my growing depression. I love Arizona, but it doesn't seem to love me back. It's not just the weather, either. Being a caregiver for an elderly parent is tough. I'm happy to do it, but I feel so alone. My wife will NOT come out, and I fear I'm going to be alone for the rest of my life, as the older you get, the harder it can be to meet a potential partner. Especially when you don't have any friends in the new location with whom you can go out with and meet new people. I gave up so much to do what I feel was, and is, the right thing to do, but I feel like I'm going to be the one to get burned and shafted for doing it. Maybe it wasn't the right thing to do...
  16. Somewhat, but out here it IS more showery than steady, like back there. It may snow most of the day, but it comes in in waves of heavy precipitation, followed by lighter lulls, then hits again. It's definitely different the way is snows (and rains) up there in the high country.
