  1. I was punking on the NWS graphic where they mislabeled the counties on that tornado statement...lol There is bituminous coal out your way, isn't there?
  2. So my daughter and her family are at Splash Mountain RV Park just east of Northumberland with their brand new camper trailer for the holiday weekend, and I guess were close to all the action. Fortunately they did not have any damage and are all OK.
  3. Screenshot of the PA 511 camera at I78 and PA100 in Fogelsville a couple minutes ago. Visibility is that of a blizzard...
  4. Early Arizona nooners here... 107 at 11:40am. We're currently running 2 to 4 degrees above yesterday at the same times, and yesterday's high was 114.
  5. 7:45am and it's already 90 degrees here. It's gonna be a hot one today...
  6. Early EARLY nooners by east coast time. It's 9:00am here and currently 94 degrees.
  7. If it weren't for the abnormally rainy winter, we wouldn't be.
  8. Nothing was worse than any food concession at the Vet. Nillon Brothers ran it and everything flat out sucked ass.
  9. Look what happens when I'm not in Tamaqua...
  10. That looks quite good or quite ugly depending on one's viewpoint.
  11. That looks impressive. Do you have an image for one to two hours later? Does it hold together into Schuylkill County?
  12. One degree warmer than I was yesterday...lol
  13. You guys are both right. 100+ in the shade when it's super dry feels much better than even say 88 with a 72 dewpoint. Once the monsoon hits, it's a different story. While it doesn't happen everyday, you can get days where it's 108 with a 65-70 dewpoint, and then it gets brutal.
  14. I'm suing for copyright infringement. #Tamaqua Split ©️
  15. So after the chilly 58 this morning, we're up to 99 now. Check out the dewpoint and humidity, though.
  16. These two posts get a response of instead of just a reaction. Beginning Monday, and lasting for at least a week and a half, our highs will likely meet and exceed 110.
  17. The forecast high today is 105, so it'll be short lived...lol
  18. And this is part of why it got so chilly. Talk about dry air. It was perfect conditions for some insane radiational cooling. The humidity just after sunset was 2% and the dewpoint was -8.
  19. I get up, get my morning coffee, go sit outside on the patio, and was shocked at how chilly it felt. Looked at the two closest PW stations, and holy crap... It's 58 degrees...in late June...in Phoenix, AZ!
  20. That Texas heat is coming here next week. 110+ beginning on Monday.
  21. Ah, screw it. Here's the Phoenix west valley post-peak heating at 5:30pm.
