Interesting... I know anyone can click and get the forecast, but this is where they went with Tamaqua on the point and click. It had been a half inch Sunday night and a half inch Monday morning. Tonight Rain before 1am, then rain and snow. Low around 32. Northwest wind 8 to 16 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New snow accumulation of 1 to 3 inches possible. Monday Rain and snow before 10am, then a slight chance of snow between 10am and noon. High near 39. Breezy, with a northwest wind 18 to 21 mph, with gusts as high as 33 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New snow accumulation of around an inch possible.

Looks like CTP caught on to the models increasing the snow totals. Verbatim, the Tamaqua forecast went from a half to one inch to a possible 2-4 inch finish.

Thats quite the turn of events if it verifies.

My forecast (Tamaqua) for tonight made me laugh. The way its worded it would be best to stay out and close the bar before attempting to drive home. You have a 1 hour window to be able to see where you're going... Tonight Patchy fog before 2am, then patchy fog after 3am. Otherwise, increasing clouds, with a low around 33. East wind around 5 mph becoming calm in the evening.

Looks somewhat like an I-81 (northeast of Harrisburg) special.

So it's 79 degrees here as I type this. I know what I posted this morning, but when the time does come for me to move back, it sure is going to be tough to give up this nice weather.

Off topic again, but what do you do when you realize you're in the wrong place, but don't want to hurt your mom? While I try to stay positive, it's becoming clearer that after a year out here, I should be back home with my wife and family. Life is getting more difficult as I long to go back to normal. Work keeps screwing around with me, I'm lonely with no friends, I miss my wife, my daughter and grandkids, the dog and cat, and everything else that we did together. Here, it's just me and mom, and while I love her dearly, I'm just all out of whack. I want my wife to come out, but she won't. I want my mom to move back east, but she won't. In a nutshell, I feel like I just don't belong here anymore, and im afraid I'm going to lose EVERYTHING if I don'tmake a move soon...

I drive local now. No more long haul otr for me. I've got a friend who does drive otr, and he pulls a refrigerated trailer. Maybe he can help you out...lol
