  1. That's pretty cool. It's not often that Tamaqua jackpots.
  2. Well it was the winter without cold. You expected different?
  3. Those temps are higher than my forecast for the same time frame.
  4. Randumb thought of the day. The Tornadoes would be a great name for a football team.
  5. I'm sorry...lol As for before 11am, no. It started right around 1pm per the graph for the day. The full onslaught started around 4pm, though.
  6. That map is way wrong. Mine was not the only station in Eastern Schuylkill at 4+ inches yeaterday, yet they only show 1.50 to 1.75.
  7. So it looks like 5.30" is going to be the total tally as the rain shield has pushed east of Tamaqua.
  8. Perhaps. I've been watching the qauge, and it's up another inch. I've no doubt Tamaqua meets or exceeds 5". I'll post a final once the rain moves out. There HAS to be some crazy runoff/street flooding with the rate it's been dumping.
  9. Got another inch since my last post. Check out the rate when I snapped the screenshot.
  10. My daughter just sent me a pic from Tamaqua. After about 3 blocks, things start to disappear.
  11. It keeps going up. I wonder if it'll reach 500...
  12. My daughter told me the air quality index in Tamaqua is currently 361.
  13. https://map.purpleair.com/1/mAQI/a10/p604800/cC0#7.51/39.877/-76.606
  14. Look at those particulate numbers along and above I-80, especially Williamsport and north of Scranton.
  15. Interesting article. They all must have done this. I know Tamaqua did, as did various departments in the Lehigh Valley.
  16. Yeah, not everyone agrees on roofs and siding. The pitfalls of living in a half double.
  17. This is what it looks like in Tamaqua right now. Visibility is about 1 mile at best. And tomorrow is supposed to be worse? I can't even imagine...
  18. Look at the haze/smoke on I-81 in Hazleton right now (4:20pm).
  19. I know it did. Winter, spring, and now summer. I'm almost afraid to come back as there'll probably be a call for a lynching...lol
  20. I'm amazed. Fire danger is high. Talk of dry thunderstorms. Dense smoke from wildfires. These are all normally conditions that are confined to arid west, and they're currently plaguing Pennsylvania. Who'd have thought my moving to Arizona would change the climate that much?
  21. That's incredible. I've never seen a road that completely covered by leaves before.
  22. Must have been a hell of a storm. I don't think I've ever seen that color on an Accuweather summer thunderstorm radar map before.
