  1. My mom used to hit me with that all the time...
  2. It's pretty incredible when you think about it. Think back to 7-10 days ago. No one saw this coming, and anyone who would have forecasted it would have probably been mocked and laughed at vociferously.
  3. Check this out. What a crazy storm result...
  4. All this talk of snow and I was out laying in the sun working on my suntan...
  5. Wind must be fierce back there. It's extremely rare for me to get a gust over 20mph due to my station location, but this morning I registered a 24mph gust.
  6. Same for Tamaqua, but hey, Lancaster has a winter storm watch.
  7. I think I actually did do that, last winter, when downtown Tucson did indeed get an inch of snow...lol
  8. Seems to be around a foot for Tamaqua per my daughter, and the 11 inches reported to the NWS in their statement.
  9. Snow showers? Makes it sound like it's just going to snow off and on throughout the event, which is really not how true snowstorms act in PA. Tonight Snow showers, possibly mixed with rain. Low around 29. Light east wind increasing to 11 to 16 mph in the evening. Winds could gust as high as 29 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. Total nighttime snow accumulation of 2 to 4 inches possible. Tuesday Snow showers, mainly before 10am. The snow could be heavy at times. High near 34. Northeast wind 14 to 17 mph becoming northwest in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 31 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New snow accumulation of 3 to 5 inches possible.
  10. Canderson for moderator! I know he'd do a good job keeping things civil here without being over the top heavy handed.
  11. Oh, I know. I love Shady Maple. I just like to get people going with it.
  12. How can it be a shady maple in the wintertime???
  13. Took this pic a couple blocks from my humble Sun City abode this morning. The Bradshaw Mountains just north of the Valley got a decent snow overnight.
  14. This was the Kachina Village ADOT camera at 3pm.
  15. I forgot about the rail cam. My niece just messaged me and said she got another 14" today so far. So that's 37" between yesterday and today. Now she lives in Flagstaff proper. South of Flag on I-17 (Munds Park and Kachina Village) gets more usually. I'll bet those areas are 40" or better.
  16. My niece's side yard in Flagstaff right now. That's a 6ft fence for reference.
  17. Tamaqua or Phoenix, it makes no difference...
  18. Copped a cool pic of the clouds this morning in the AZ backyard...
  19. That's one thing that Tamaqua was pretty immune to. We've had them, but none were of any significance. On a side note, you guys need to come out to Flagstaff this week. All the globals give them at least 20+ inches of snow this week. Every day from Tuesday through the weekend has at least moderate chances for falling snow.
  20. Reading the the last page here, I'd say you guys really need a HECS. You're all going crazy from a lack of snow...lol
  21. Caught this bad boy during my errand running today...
