    Wow. Similar situation here last week. Wife got sick over the snowy weekend, then gave it to me two days later. Same flu type A that you have. Totally kicked our asses. I'm still not 100% recovered. I'm not contagious, or sick anymore, but lingering fatigue and a raspy voice remain.

    I started the winter thread hoping to bring good snow chances for you guys. It didn't work quite the way I wanted it to. It brought some ridiculous cold, but not much in the way of storms. I don't mind the snow as much as I hate the cold. That extreme cold did me in, and now I'm in full blown spring mode. It didn't help that I got the flu right in the middle of the arctic outbreak, so I've been somewhat miserable. I'm over the flu itself, but residual fatigue, a raspy voice, and mental changes remain.

    Being a warmanista on a snow/cold weather forum sucks... The best weather discussion lives here on these forums by a bunch of great folks, but everything is at odds with my own personal weather desires.

    One that I hope is wrong. I can't deal with that kind of cold anymore. It sucks that to stay married, I have put up with temperatures I abhor.

    Another below zero morning here. Currently -1 in the backyard.

    Yes. Way too cold. I don't mind highs upper 30s to mid 40s, and low 25+. I'm seriously thinking of quitting my job and trying to find something that isn't affected by weather. Stressing about snow, and as a water hauler, the frigid cold, is just wearing on me. At 57 years old though, and trucking for over 30 of them, not sure who would hire me to start a new career.

    Just to add insult to injury (although it may actually be a blessing in disguise) but now I've got the flu. Wife got it first over the weekend, and of course now I picked it up. She's still home sick, so I guess I have a few days of feeling like I was hit by a freight train. This sucks...
