  1. I didn't see any model with more than about a half inch of for this weekend. What am I missing here? https://patch.com/pennsylvania/across-pa/amp/31867431/weekend-storm-with-drenching-downpours-in-forecast-for-eastern-pa
  2. If we don't start getting beneficial rain, even I won't be able to help out. Our springs are holding up, but the other company that hauls with us is having problems with a lowering and diminishing water table. They can't get as many loads per day out of their sources as they usually do.
  3. Mine skipped a few beats thinking about that. Worried about total failure when the first flakes fly...
  4. And I got a whole whopping 0.01" out of that rain event last night. Of course we've done well the past few months in the immediate Tamaqua area, so this is an obs post, not a complaint post, but still, with all that action west of me, it's amazing how it all missed.... Another observation though, too, is that many of the spring locations that we, and another trucking company load out of, are having trouble. The lack of rainfall this year for most locations has them running slow. We can't keep the silos at a decent level throughout the day. Many just can't handle the usual volume of trucks and loads that they usually can during a normal rain year.
  5. I've been back since Memorial Day. I'd have thought it would wear off by now...
  6. Late to the party, but I registered a 95 (94.8) yesterday afternoon. Wasn't expecting that kind of heat up here.
  7. Flat bottomed clouds, they make the weather world go 'round....
  8. It's not only the Phillies who fell off the cliff (so to speak) this second half. The Yankees and Orioles records have taken a hit as well. All three teams had .600+ win/loss percentages and were vying for best record in baseball. All three have come back down to earth over the past month or so.
  9. Getting the staples removed from the head gash I got last week. It's a catch-22, though. I want them out, but not looking forward to the pain that may be inflicted by the procedure.
  10. This is true, though. The highs and lows (68/46) the next couple of days are typical mid-January temperatures in Phoenix.
  11. With it being so blustery, it feels more like the day after a winter storm than mid/late August.
  12. They were, weren't they? At the same time Flagstaff had an epic 22/23 winter, and 23/24 wasn't too shabby, either.
  13. Imagine how I feel. I've got to re-acclimate after two winters away.
  14. Tuesday Night Mostly clear, with a low around 48. Northwest wind 6 to 9 mph. Wednesday Mostly sunny, with a high near 70. Northwest wind 5 to 7 mph. Wednesday Night Mostly clear, with a low around 48.
  15. Just checked multiple PWS along 22 from Fogelsville to Bethlehem, and all of them in the 3-4 inch range.
