  3. NAM 3k looks pretty ominous for central/eastern PA later on if it were to verify verbatim.
  4. And will somehow figure out a way to miss Schuylkill County...
  5. And a whole bunch of nothingness in the Tamaqua/Hazleton area...
  6. 1:00pm and still a solid overcast in South Philly...
  7. If it isn't raining, it's windy AF... I really wish this crazy pattern would change.
  8. Ugh...wish I didn't have to go to NYC tomorrow. I'd have liked to have been closer to home, like the Sands Casino in Bethlehem...
  9. Second warned storm of the night for Tamaqua. Missed the first one as I was on the road in the bus down by Duncannon, but home now. Wife told me a house nearby was struck by lightning in the first storm. She said the storm was pretty bad.
  10. And Monday's forecast high for Phoenix is only in the upper 70's which is nearly unheard of in May...
  11. So where is this dry spell I thought we were getting? Looks like showers nearly every day in the forecast now through the weekend...
  12. That usually happens on the 4th of July weekend...
  13. Caught in a subsidence zone most of the day. Heavy rain along the Susquehanna and heavy rain along the Lehigh and Delaware. Here, not so much. Only 0.55" in the gauge today...
  14. I'm beginning to think this is the summer that we don't dare put away our winter clothes...
  15. I got 0.07" from some light rain early this morning, then nothing after that. From about 1:00pm on it was a rather nice day here.
  16. Aren't we kind of getting into the better range for the mesos over the globals, though? If we are than that would give the edge to the NAM. I'm watching this closely as I'm a trucker heading back east from California in the time frame for the storm. I usually run 40 to 44 to 70, but if it's going to be bad in Oklahoma, I may just head right on up to 70 and go through Colorado and Kansas.
  17. I just notice that on the radar. Wow. DC is ripping snow and you are getting rain. This is the most unbelievable winter I've ever seen...
  18. And as it turns out, it wasn't warmth and rain we had to worry about...
  19. While this may be true, for some people it's just not possible to look outside the region where they live. Take me for example. If I were in a career where it would be likely I'd have to move to get a job, since my wife WILL NOT leave the region, I'd either be jobless or divorced.
  20. If this weren't a weather board I'd swear you were talking about truck driving. What you described is almost dead-on in the transportation field as well.
