  1. Man, I really just don't know what to make of 2020. No winter, maybe no summer, and no life due to a ****ing virus. Add in a potential shoulder (rotator cuff?) surgery and It's almost too much to take...
  2. Beautiful day out today. I was even able to lay out in the sun and get some psoriasis medicine, and get rid of my winter pale...
  3. I didn't either, but a few years ago (and I can't speak for the LSV) we had frost on Memorial Day morning. That year though, it seemed like an outlier. This year it seems like normal.
  4. All this crap started when people were making those brooms stand up by themselves...
  5. Not sure how accurate it is, and it defaults to temperature, so you have to use the pull down menu to get to wind speed and gusts, but you can try it. Now it is set to my location, but you can move and zoom the map, and perhaps enter your coordinates to make it local for you. https://darksky.net/forecast/40.7995,-75.9519/us12/en
  6. The worst. If it's going to be gloomy and rainy, let 'er rip and be substantial...
  7. I know. I do hate the cold, but most of my posts are meant for fun, which is why I post with the emojis. Just ask my wife, I rile her up to the point where she says, "you're an ass"...lol
  8. My God, when 86 is a blast furnace... Head on out to Yosemite. 9-15 inches of snow expected this week.
  9. I just want low to mid 70's. Warm enough to lay out in the sun and keep my psoriasis at bay and get a little color so I don't look like a Hanes T Shirt.
  10. What is this summer you talk about? I'm not 100% sold on the fact that we'll have one this year...lol
  11. Yup. It may be warmer than the past few weeks but next week looks pretty crappy otherwise. We just can't buy a decent long-term stretch of nice weather anymore...
  12. That's what my friend's wife said to me on Facebook when I started posting about the snow potential on Friday...lol
  13. Saw that and it royally pissed me off. I'm beginning to think this is going to be the year without a summer. By now, I've run my a/c at least a couple times, and have the windows open nearly every day. This year, no a/c and the windows have been opened 5 times if lucky. On a personal level, I've never been so white (no suntan) this late in the year. Only one day was warm enough (for me) to be out in just a short sleave shirt, and as for shorts...fuhgettaboutit...
  14. Ugh...I can't wait for this dreary, rainy, cold pattern to end. I am just SO depressed right now. Between the virus restrictions, being out of work from my regular job, to trying trucking again, which I gave up on due to the restrictions (restaurants closed by the time I parked, 2 hour waits for showers, etc) I just need some nice weather to get out and walk or work in the yard or whatever.
  15. Backyard temp shows 58 here. Phone app shows 54. Either way, quite a remarkable turnaround indeed. Perhaps I can put the heavy winter coat back in the closet again.
  16. When 50 in May feels like 70, you know it's been too damn cold...
  17. I went to the grocery store and for takeout supper at 4:30pm and we were 39 degrees.
  18. Third round of flurries/snow showers here. Other than the fact that it's May 9th, they wouldn't be postworthy, but on Mother's Day weekend, they sure are.
  19. The weather geek in me says, "cool, I've never seen May snow before", but the warm weather lover in me is saying, " WTF?"
  20. Back in one of the prior cold snaps (can't remember which one there's been so many) we got down to 25 in my backyard, and much to my surprise, our bleeding heart survived. I'm hoping that luck prevails again.
  21. Pretty dramatic change. An hour ago it looked like just rain up there.
